Island Survivor Stories

I believe my favourite genre of news articles is the Island Survivor Story. This genre ranges from the shipwrecked to the island nation. In the past month or so, BBC has been most generous in feeding my curiosity with a number of stories:

Palmerston: The island at the end of the earth
Kiribati: Tiny island's struggle with overpopulation
Castaway wants to return to Mexico after Pacific ordeal
